Unique and stunning Carlo of Hollywood watercolor Dancer artwork in forced perspective frame. CARLO of Hollywood is exuberant in its classic, retro mid-1950s style of muted, pastel colors. Note the fine features of the dancers and their dramatic pose. The eye is brought to the form and composition of the two gorgeous dancers. Little is known about Carlo, other than his ubiquitous signature on many 1950s decorative art. In Excellent condition with light fading of the subtle pastel shades. Frame is in very good condition with light age related wear. The back paper is torn and brittle. Dimensions: 24.5” T, 18” w short side, 24” w long side, 3” deep.
